Harinatha Babu is one of the prominent poets of Bellary District. He was born on 2nd May 1968 to Sri. V. Mudukappa and Smt. V. Gangamma. He got married to Smt. V. Suneetha and blessed with two children Suhasa and Sree Vaishnavi living at Siruguppa. Earlier he has worked as a teacher for 8 years and presently working as a Treasury officer putting his 7 year service in the office.

Harinatha Babu authored “Belaka Hejjeyanarasi”, an anthology of his poems, published in 2009. Many of his poems got published in different kannada news papers & magazines.

He has participated in “Kavi Goshti” (Poets’ Meet) of 73rd Akhila Bharata Kannada Saahitya Sammelana, Shivamogga and 76th Akhila Bharata Kannada Saahitya Sammelana, Gadag and many Zilla Sahitya Sammelanas held in Bellary and Koppal districts.

Through his poetry, he is trying to express his deep concern to the needy. He hopes for the happy and beautiful world at least for our next generation.
